Kids these days, why the heck don't they go outside anymore? It's a stereotypical complaint that has been made by many a boomer, and contrary to popular belief, it can't be solely blamed on screens. The world is not always the most hospitable place for younger people and part of this is due to those who are older being unreasonable or even downright hostile.
This is something that some boys in Tennessee had the displeasure of finding out not too long ago. They had gone fishing in a small lake in the neighborhood, causing an HOA member to fly into a rage and confront them, breaking a fishing rod. It's no surprise who the internet sided with on this one, and it certainly wasn't the homeowner. Gen Z may have their flaws, but it is no excuse for unacceptable behavior toward children who are trying to have fun and aren't causing any trouble.
